EVENT OVERVIEW:

Al Mar’a Excellence Awards is a platform to recognize the achievements and entrepreneurial zeal of women in the Sultanate. The awards recognize and encourage Omani women who have conquered the odds and have reached challenging positions in diverse areas like business, government, industry, education and other relevant fields.

Al Mar’a will give Awards to the Leading Women Achiever's as per the following award titles:

Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Corporate Leadership
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Fashion Design
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Performing Arts
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Fine Arts
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Educational services
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Health Services
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for achievements in Science and Industry
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Technology
Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Sports
Al Mar’a Excellence for Social Responsibility

Al Mar’a Excellence Award for Petroleum Services

Al Mar’a will exclusively award 2 of Oman’s top women achievers with the following award title:

Woman of the Year

Most Promising Young Woman

These awards will felicitate an outstanding businesswoman or professional who has rendered unparalleled service as an Oman ambassadress

AWARDS NOMINATION PROCESS:

Nomination Process: (Multi-Fold Process)

Step 1: Nomination forms are redeemable online
(Download, fill-out and submit via email: ruwayda@umsoman.com delivery/Fax @ 24707939)

Step 2: Nomination forms must be filled in adequately and submitted with supporting documentation to UMS (Al Mar’a), in RUWI or the outlet nomination box.

Step 3: The nominations will be submitted to the independent panel of judges for evaluation and ranking

Step 4: The judges adjudication results will be submitted to Ernst and Young

Step 5: Ernst and Young will audit the results

Step 6: The winners & finalists will be announced at the Al Mar’a Excellence Awards

Step 7: The winners and finalists will be publicized in the media post event
